I am quite pleased to have the privilege to work with such hard working and dedicated people. I don’t know if there is something about the Alexander Keith’s fine beers but no matter where they are, everyone who is involved with the beer is so very passionate about maintaining its quality and integrity.
With more and more Canadians enjoying Alexander Keith’s, it’s time to pass on our tradition by expanding beyond our hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Brewmasters Arrive in Halifax: The Brewing Process
“Only the finest pure barley malt and select hops shall be used to brew our beer. It will always be brewed slowly, carefully, taking the time to get it right. When the beer is ready, it will be delivered fresh to wherever fine beer is sold.”
This is Alexander Keith’s brewing promise, and the very words that I reiterated to our new Brewmasters when they visited Halifax recently. In this video, I explain that providing consistent taste quality requires several tasting trials of each beer batch. No product leaves the brewery until it has been tasted by the brewer themselves.
