Friday, February 25th, 2011

The weather was a bit chilly for our Brewmasters’ first trip to Halifax but Nickolas and Rebecca were good sports about it and really wanted to take advantage of their time in Alexander Keith’s hometown. I ended the tour of Halifax with the Brewmasters by taking them to pay their respects to the man himself – Alexander Keith – at his gravesite. I explained how important this landmark is for Haligonians and how every year on October 5th (his birthday) people leave Alexander Keith’s bottle caps to pay tribute to the man. Tomorrow, I’ll be taking the guys through the brewing process for Keith’s - the last step before the Brewmasters head back to their breweries to start the next phase of the accreditation process.
